Wolverine and the X-Men |

>>Well at least something new... Lots of previews of upcoming episodes and guest stars... Not super keen on Wolverine being the focus, but what X-men show doesn't star him. So points this time for honesty in the title :)... That said it will have nightcrawler in it so YAY! See the latest trailer at Newsarama. The animation style really reminds me of X-men Evolution if its as fluid as that show with a decent story i'll deff be makin this one a watcher. Hopefully with this show coming out the WB will finally release the last season of X-men Evolution, if nothing else to cash in on the hype of a new X-men project launching.. Time will tell. |

>>Now that Messiah Complex is over, Marvel has finally released the X-Men sollicitations. Look for some blue elf pictures and a couple of summaries at Newsarama. There even will be a Nightcrawler solo story. :-)

Alan Davis's new Clan Destine series will feature... the classic Excalibur team ! Nightcrawler ! Meggan ! Shadowcat ! Rachel ! and Cap Britain ! It seems the story takes place during the Cross-time Caper. That is such great news !... There is an image of the cover at
Newsarama.
Or here, directly. Doesn't the cover remind you of something ?... ;-))
So, be sure to check Clan Destine #1 this february, in order to meet again Excalibur, two months later.
Also, I just noticed that Upper Deck will release a GIANT bust of Nightcrawler. Life-sized. Can you believe it ?? The designer is Alex Ross himself, who created the bust from Dave Cockrum drawings. Expensive will be this one... You can see this wonder at
wizarduniverse.
Regarding comic books, it seems the blue elf doesn't play a big part in the Messiah Complex storyline, with him being injured and all. Nevertheless, he will still be part of the Uncanny X-Men comic book cast.
Finally, let me say happy new year to you all. Don't worry : the news section keeps on going...

for the upcoming "Wolverine and the X-Men" cartoon. Nightcrawler is definitely part of the team, along with Storm. The other ones come from the "Astonishing X-Men" book : Shadowcat (sweet!), Cyclops (sigh!), Emma Frost (rrrr!), Beast (cool!)... and Wolvie, of course.

Marvel Legends VS System |

>>As many of you have seen by now. A new Vs System CCG expansion has been previewed and should be avaialbe in stores in a few weeks. Check your local comic shop for details. However, Kurt will be featured on his own card. SWEET! All the card images have not yet been released so not sure if he will appear on anymore images. The only real downside to this expansion is that it relys heavily on regurgitated comic art. Which I personally am not a fan of. Would rather they create new art specifically for the set. But would explain how they released the set so quickly.
On a side note, obviously this site has gone the realm of legacy if we are still getting visitors I really appreciate you looking around. I and diablo just don't have the time to keep updates going as often as either of us would like, but its more of me failing in this endeavor than him. So whilst I will apologize for that I can't promise consistant updates on the site. I have family responsiblities and work pretty much take up all my time. So if you don't see a lot of updates or if you don't hear back from us via email we aren't ignoring you and we do appreciate you coming to the site and looking about. |

World War Hulk |

>>Hulk is mad and wanna smash all the puny Marvel so-called heroes !...Gasp ! Nightcrawler is one of them. The elf appears in World War Hulk : X-Men#2 and #3. Andrea Divito pencils a neat Crawler, really Alan Davis-like. :-)

July update |

>>Sorry for not adding much news lately. Honestly, there aren't a lot of important things happening for the elf in Marvel comics...That said, there are some projects that seem interesting.
So, as a reminder, here is where you can find the blue elf's adventures
1) each month, in the regular Marvel Universe, among the pages of the Uncanny X-Men comic-book.
2) sometimes he appears in Ultimate X-Men too, but he's no longer a member of the team.
3) there will be a big cross-over called "Messiah Complex", so if Kurt pops up in another X-book, I'll sure let you know. Details here, at Newsarama

4) Finally, as Jake pointed out, there's a new cartoon on the way, which is called "Wolverine and the X-Men". Here is a link to

>>Nothing X-traordinary concerning the elf, except for one great cover by Salvador Larroca, who's also penciling Uncanny #488. Which is great,since his Nightcrawler looks always really cool.

Also, take a look at New X-Men #40, featuring the return of Belasco (a.k.a. Kurt Wagner in the Earth X universe)... and Amanda Sefton ! I hope the lady won't bite the dust, as many, many characters in New X-Men have...

>>Talk of an upcoming X-men animated series has been going on for a bit. I haven't fully been keeping tabs on this, but a little blurb has peeked my curiosty. Or rather 2 blurbs.
1. Boyd Kirland has joined the series ans supervising director (from X-men Evolution fame) sweet...
2. Liam O'Brien is providing the voices of Nightcrawler and Angel... WHAT!!! While no idea of the scope of the series, Wolverine is obviously going to be the star, but here's hoping the elf gets some good supporting role moments... : )
