X-Men Evolution Crawler |
Like most kids, I grew up watching cartoons on Saturday morning. Leaping
out of bed I would scamper to get my bowl of cereal. Then sit entraced by the soft glow of colorful images dancing on the
TV. All the while freezing in my superman pajamas. Yet, for me, I never really grew out of my love of animation.
As I grew, I soon discovered that the animation medium encompassed a larger audience than just children. Case in point,
some cartoons offered themes a bit darker and more mature, such as, "The Last Unicorn" and "The Hobbit". Which inevitably, lead me
to Japanese animation. The veritable classics "Star Blazers" and "RoboTech" blew away my little adolescent mind.
Of course now, I don't jump out of bed on Saturday anymore. I just set the VCR to record any
shows that I wish to see. But I still sit entranced watching the colors light up the screen.
This section allows me to spotlight two of my favorite pastimes, Nightcrawler and animation. What follows
is a brief description of various cartoon series Kurt has appeared. Not all of them were
great, and a few of them were quite poor actually. Yet, I still get a thrill each time I watch an episode.
